Girija Shettar, who is known for her role in the 1998 film “Geethanjali”, is making her acting comeback after a 20-year hiatus. She will be starring in the upcoming Kannada film “Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali“, directed by Chandrajith Belliappa.
The film also stars Vihan, Ankita Amar, and Mayuri Nataraja. It is produced by GS Gupta and Rakshit Shetty under the banner of Paramvah Studios. The music is composed by Gagan Baderiya.
In “Ibbani Tabbida Ileyali”, Girija Shettar plays the role of Madhumitha, a single mother. She will be seen infusing the role with her signature charm and depth.
The film is currently in production and is slated to release later this year.
